There are two very useful links at the bottom of all store pages that can really help you promote your store. Anyone want more sales ?
The problem is ... your customers probably don't know they are there.
The two promotional tools I'm talking about are the RSS Feed and the Tell A Friend links.
So why don't we just move those links into your top navigation bar or into a custom side navigation bar.
1. Tell A Friend
A fast and simple way for your customers to email a friend with a link to your eBay store. Maybe even a link to some special product you are selling.
The link can be found in the lower left side of any of your store pages. Just right-click copy the short-cut to obtain your link and then make a link to it in your side navigation bar or in your top navigation bar.
2. The RSS Feed
First you need to turn your RSS feed "on". To do this go here:
My eBay > Manage My Store > Listing Feeds (left column)
Simply select "Distribute Your Listings Via RSS".
Now return to the front page of your store. You will see a small, orange RSS box in the lower left corner of your store. That is the link for your RSS Feed. Just right-click copy the short-cut to obtain your link and then make a link to it in your side navigation bar or in your top navigation bar.
The RSS Feed lets your customers know whenever you add new auctions or store inventory items to your store ... if they have an RSS Reader. The great part ... they find out almost instantly ... so you might find yourself selling new items within hours of putting the up.
Food for thought to help promote a store. Hope it helps.
